CHEC was engaged by the Grenadian government to start work in April 2013 for the St. Marks Flood Mitigation Project valued at US $5million. This area in the town of Victoria suffers repeatedly from flooding in the rainy season, which results in infrastructure damage and discomfort to the many residents who live in the vicinity. The works include the river channel cleanout, revetment protection, and a new barrage at the upper stream. The project is scheduled to be completed in July 2014.
